Cold Mountain Internal Arts Tai Chi Teachers’ Clinic (UPDATED)
Let us know you'll be joining us by clicking on the green registration button. We'll be sure to put out a chair for you and save you a seat! (Seeing this info in an email? This link will take you to the Event Listing on the CTF website: Register me!)
Not sure if you can confirm yet? We'll be pleasantly surprised when we see you walk through the door.
Where: Calvin Church, 248 Westmount Rd. E., Kitchener ON Canada
When: Saturday 9th December 2017, 1:30-4:30 p.m. (optional dinner to follow)
All Tai Chi practitioners are concerned with teaching --- whether we are helping others or working at refining our own form.
One of the most basic methods, whether we are beginners or experts, is how to take a movement or form apart in order to better understand it, and then to put it back together again!
Three workshops:
Jill Heath on Teaching and the Art of Articulation--Verbal and Beyond;
Steve Higgins on the Yang tradition’s system employing ‘energy dots’ and acupoints;
Jonathan Krehm from the Wu tradition on “Principles of Articulation”.
Finally, an open panel discussion!
Cost: $20 for the afternoon to cover rent and other expenses. Pay at the door, cash or cheque. Any after-expense proceeds to be split between participants and CTF.
NOTE: This event should be of interest to students as well as teachers. All are welcome; come and swell the THRONG!
Chinese food at ‘The Cameron’ after!
More details as they become available. Stay tuned!
