This is the original Yang family Tai Chi developed by Yang Chien-Hou in Beijing in the 1800’s and transmitted by Tian Shaolin in Shanghai. The form is rare due to its difficulty. It is characterized by silk-reeling and features combative and qigong elements which are not widely known. The intensive workshop will focus on the first section of the traditional long form.
Steve Higgins was certified as a lineage instructor by Dr. Shen Zaiwen in 1994.
