These methods are the root of both Tai Chi Pushing Hands and Tai Chi for practical self defense. In a special workshop on January 24th. we explored the four cardinal methods of this "Early Heaven Boxing" system: Peng (Ward), Lu (Roll-back) Ji (Press) and An (Push). The workshop was very successful; we had about 15 people in attendance and there was good scope for friendly two-person experimentation with the first four methods. On Sunday March 29th. we shall conduct a review. We shall then continue with an exploration of the secondary four methods - Tsai (Pull-down), Chou (Elbow), Lieh ( Split ) and Kao (Shoulder). A flyer is attached for your reference. Enrollment is open so, if you missed the earlier workshop this is an opportunity to catch up! Hoping to see you there! Steve.
