Andrea Falk has over 30 years experience in Bagua and has focussed on Magui style since 2001. The Magui style is a lineage that emphasizes Bagua’s connection to Qigong theories of ‘tendon changing’ and the practical application of ‘full body power’. The circle-walking training is slower and heavier than other lineages which helps build internal power quickly. This seminar is suitable for both beginners and continuing students.
Bagua: Walking in the Footprints of the Masters

A continuation of the morning workshop, this session will cover more advanced Bagua training drill and techniques. While participation in the morning session is not required, it is preferred.
'The practice of circle-walking trains the qi & blood, eventually developing the whole body. With training the body changes, the vital organs are revitalized & any diseases in the body will gradually disappear. The body becomes robust & one's spirits become clear & strong.
Bagua Spear & Sabre

Learn Chinese Spear or Bagua’s Big Sabre. Andrea Falk has been training with Lu Yan, a five time national wushu champion in China. Expect a dynamic seminar that combines the power of chinese weapon practice with the grace of Bagua. Previous experience with Chinese weapons, while not required, will be helpful.
Xingyi: Aligning Form and Intent

Assertive, economical and direct, Xingyi is the most linear for the internal styles. Its foundation is built on the theory of five phases/elements and is practical in its training approach. Andrea Falk will be teaching in Guelph, covering the five fundamental strikes for beginners, and the 12 animals forms and partner routines for returning students. Learn how to, “Rise like a sweeping wind, strike like raining arrows” with the translator of the 3 volume, “Di Guoyong on Xingyi Quan” one of the best English language translations in Chinese martial arts.
