The Canadian Taijiquan Federation (CTF) is a registered non-profit corporation founded in 1988 to promote Taijiquan (Tai Chi) in Canada. Over the years, the CTF has grown. It has members across Canada and other countries. The CTF is currently moving towards forming regional and provincial chapters to foster greater co-operation in spreading the art of Taijiquan. Through membership in the CTF you can meet fellow Taiji enthusiasts, form friendships, learn and share. We welcome members from all styles and clubs.

The CTF holds the intention to support its members. Please send us your feedback. Tell us what you like about how the CTF has been serving Tai Chi players for more than a quarter century. Don’t be shy about telling us what you don’t like! What can we do to make our organization better? We welcome your suggestions.

Submit your ideas for presentations or demos for the Harvest Festival on October 17th to stevenholbert65@gmail.com. As Secretary, he will review submissions with the Board of the CTF to select presentations for this Symposium.

Announcing Harvest Festival presentation for October 17, 2021 on Zoom

The Canadian Taijiquan Federation will host the fourth annual Harvest Festival on October 3, 2020, on Zoom. The response for the Annual General Meeting was positive, and given that the precautions for Covid-19 are still in place, the Zoom platform will enable more people to attend than if we had to travel somewhere.

The program will be released by October 12, 2021, showing who will be presenting at this Symposium. Unfortunately, we will not be able to meet at some fine restaurant or distillery to socialize, but we can salute each other with the libation of our choice.

We will proceed at 1200 that morning, and go for two hours. Each presenter will have about 20 minutes for their paper, and 5 minutes for questions. Discussion may erupt during the Symposium, as is our tradition.

Join the Zoom audience! Please contact the President, Steven Holbert, at his email stevenholbert65@gmail.com, to be added to the list for an invitation to join.

Thank you for joining us for another celebration of the Harvest Festival.
